Blogs are a great way to market products because of the tone with which blog entries are made. Blogs are often usually personalized and "personal". It seems like it is talking to you and to you alone and nobody else. This is why most blogs are successful -- they bank on writing articles that hit close to home!

I guess you're right Charles. The title of these posts should probably be "Can social marketing be profitable?" instead. Thanks for your input.

Nice write-up! You bring up an interesting point. A blog IS social media but it seems necessary to keep “blogs” distinctive from “social media sites”. The reason I say that is because both are effective for networking and marketing purposes. The challenge really is in where and how to utilize them.

I think marketing is always profitable for our business if we do use it in a proper way and always try to get our targets.

The more I use it, the more I believe social media is good for SEO. I'll explain more in my next post this week.
